Mr Dan Yakmut

Mr Dan Yakmut has over 27 years of IT experience with a strong background in Networking and Internet technologies, design, deployment and management of a University-wide IT infrastructure to support teaching, learning and research. He started work at the University of Jos as a Programmer and has grown through the ranks to the position of Director. He was the Director of ICT from 2012 to September 2021, at the Federal University Lafia, and now at the University of Jos as the current Director of ICT.

Aside from working as a core IT expert, He also teaches at the University at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. He has participated in and provided high-level technical consulting to national government and International agencies on network and Internet technologies.

Currently, the Chairman of the Committee of ICT Directors of Nigeria Tertiary Institutions (ComDICT-NTI), a committee comprising Directors of ICT of Colleges of Education, Polytechnics and Universities
